Yeah, we had two pampas grass bushes in my front yard as a kid. Man, I hate those things. The grass blades are razor sharp. Though it’s fun to pull those white flower things out and throw them like spears, especially after setting the flowers on fire! (They burn quite rapidly though.)

This stupid gigantic weed seemed like a pompous jerk in my experience with it. It just decided that our backyard was the perfect place to grow 10 feet tall and 7 feet wide. It invaded one of our family 2 peach tree’s personal space until it failed to produce fruit and died it also killed our christmas pine tree. No joke, true experience.
These gigantic plants come from seemingly nowhere as shown in this image where it grew to that size in front of several windows to the house and right next to the driveway without it being noticed enough to be removed when small.
