lamp needs work have all the pieces a bit of new age design

Here at INAD, we enjoy the use of language completely unmoored from standard definitions. It appeals to our Orwellian side – “War is Peace,” “Freedom is Slavery,” that kind of stuff. Really, just call things whatever you want. It’s not my language, it’s ours.

I believe this poster and I have different understandings of what “new age” means. Somehow, without my ever finding out, it can apparently mean “decimated,” “useless,” and “fugly.” If this is the new age, give me the old days. And a slightly less ruined lamp.

Hey, that could be a free classified selling point – “slightly less ruined than the other _____ you’ll find.”
