A box of hundreds of used floppy disks waiting here for you. Let me know I will leave the box on my front porch for you to grab. Each disk has a series of pictures on it.
In keeping with yesterday’s “itemlikelytoincriminate” theme, I’m quite sure you do NOT want law enforcement to be able see this “series of pictures.”
Fortunately for you, however, the FBI got new computers a few years ago – there’s not a floppy-reader in the Bureau. Not even the losers still assigned to the Jon Benet Ramsey case can load a 3.5” disc anymore.
So consider the statute of limitations passed as you overwrite the “series of pictures” with bootleg copies of Oregon Trail. Sure, copyright violation is a crime, too, but a lesser one.
